The skill that matters most

If your child fell in with no one watching, could they get themselves out?

It's the most dangerous moment at any pool, and the one no one plans for. From their very first lessons, we teach children to roll onto their back, find their breath, swim to the wall, and climb out on their own. It is the most important skill we will ever teach.

We had a scare at a friend's house. V passed the test when he fell in trying to get a toy he dropped. He was nowhere near the stairs! He came up to me soaked head to toe and told me he got out. Thank you x.

Watching the two bigs swim confidently while my 17-month-old sits on the edge — knowing that if she fell in she can float — is the biggest gift this summer. We're so thankful for you!!

Can't speak highly enough of Floating Kiwis! I feel like we have found the “swim lesson unicorn” and have ended up with survival skills + a love of the water in one experience.

So grateful to you! You have no idea! She was down by the pool and I was on the deck by the house. She bent over to touch the water. By the time I got to her, she was already pulling herself up the side.

After watching my friends send their kids to group classes for 6 months and still not be able to swim, I’m glad we were referred to Tracey. The kids were swimming by the end of three weeks without floaties and enjoying the pool for the rest of the summer.

If you have a pool, consider this class a necessity. If you don't have a pool, consider this class a necessity.

Questions parents ask

Frequently asked questions

How soon will my child be swimming?
Depending on age and personality, most children are independent in 4 weeks.
Why are the lessons only 10 minutes long?
Young children process approximately 15 minutes of information at a time. Short lessons on a frequent basis build the best skills.
Do you teach ISR?
Ms. Tracey took her training with Infant Aquatics. We specialize in self-rescue swimming lessons designed to teach infants and young children how to stay safe in the water.
